Vacation Bible School Plans Underway

During the week of August 3-7, 2009, Trinity Lutheran - Town Wilson will be hosting Vacation Bible School for children from 3 years old to 6th grade.

Help is needed to make this another successful year for Vacation Bible School.  Help is needed in the areas of providing snack (and someone to serve the snacks the week of VBS, adult and youth leaders to provide positive directions and leadership to the children as they participate in each day's sectionals by sitting with the children and helping them listen. 

Sectionals include

1. The Bible Story to be taught by Tim Zastrow
2. Craft Session, and
3. Music.

Bible Stoies this year will focus on the life of Elijah.

Crafts will be ready and materials will be laid out with the procedures outlined.

Music has also been chosen, which includes a traditional favorite - "Lord, Keep Us Steadfast In Your Word"; a sung version of "Luther's Morning Prayer"; together with other children's songs sung for fun.

This year we will be trying something different for snacks.  They are planned around the them of the Bible story for the day.
